If you have not sold before or recently, realize that as a REALTOR, I will work for you as a client. You sign a contract with me, called a listing contract, for an agreed commission that is paid when the house is sold.

Although the I work for you and owe you additional services, I treat all customers and clients fairly. The buyer is generally the customer. There is no contract between the buyer and the Real Estate Agent unless specified through a Buyer Broker Agreement.

Today, however, many home buyers are choosing to use a buyer's agent (broker) to work for the interests of the buyer. This makes it even more important for you to have an expert on your side looking out for your best interests.  As your listing agent I will work to achieve the best possible outcome for you.
